Fees and Charges
Many of us are put off by the thought of using an Interior Designer, mainly because we think they will be too expensive and our budget won't stretch to it, or we are just too embarrassed to walk into a shop and ask.
At Perfect Rooms we believe in being user friendly, no matter what your requirements are or how small your budget, we believe in being totally transparent with costs and fees. We have therefore listed below our charges at stages of consultation for you;
Initial Meeting - Normally Free of Charge if you decide to use our services, if you wish to take our recommendations and carry out the work yourself we reserve the right to make a small charge of £50 for our services.
Subsequent Meetings - £45 per hour pro rata, excluding VAT. These consultations can take place in the privacy and comfort of your own home or at our shop or workshops in Corsham.
Design Fees - We charge £250 per room, the design fee covers sourcing of all fabrics, wall and floor coverings, acquisition of samples and brochures and a standard room survey. Design boards, should you wish to carry out the work yourself are available at an additional cost of £175 excluding VAT.
3D Drawings - We have the facility to provide you with 3D Drawings of your room and conceptual decoration. These will incur and additional cost. Please ask us for this facility and we will provide you with a no obligation fee and time scale.
Detailed Design Drawings - These are provided at a charge of £45 per hour, further alterations to the submitted design and those that we considered beyond reasonable will be charged at £35 per hour.
Please Note: A release fee for any drawings, boards or room designs should you decide to take the design and implement them yourself, will incur a charge of £150 each, additionally, depending on the design complexity such as those for Kitchens and Bathrooms, a charge of £300 will be levied.
Project Management - Perfect Rooms offers Project Management based on 3 site visits per week at a rate of £45 per hour, plus travel and 40p per mile based on any distance over that of 10 miles from Corsham.
Supply of Materials - Furniture, floor coverings etc are supplied at trade price plus 20% handling fee. A detailed quotation is supplied for the client's approval prior to the placement of any purchase orders.
For commercial contracts, we charge a negotiated handling commission based on a percentage of the total cost price of the supply contract.
Disbursements - Standard postage, courier charges, UK telephone calls and faxes are charged at cost. Photocopies of design drawings are charged at cost.
Payment of Account - A design fee deposit of 50% is payable upon engagement with the remainder payable upon delivery of sample boards or design drawings. A deposit of 50% (100% in the case of fabrics, trimmings, wall 
coverings and bespoke furniture items) against a detailed quotation for materials is required to facilitate ordering.
VAT - All fees and charges are subject to VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated.
