Perfect Rooms stock and sell from our retail shop in Corsham, popular Boleslawiec stoneware which is produce in South Western Poland in a white clay region.
The production process covers two stages.
The production process covers two stages.
Firstly each piece is taken out of a clay mould, hand sponged to remove any impurities, glazed and then fired. The item is then painted using a stamp technique, rims and handles as well as the reaming in surfaces are painted with a brush.
The second stage involves repeated glazing followed by baking in an open kiln for 24 hours.
The result is an extremely hard wearing stoneware item that can be used in conventional ovens, AGA's and microwave ovens, freezers and dishwashers
